TabSpace needs WebGL to display your tabs. In Chrome, open Settings → System, enable Use graphics acceleration when available, then relaunch Chrome.
If it is already enabled, update Chrome and your graphics driver, then try again.

Getting started
Start your headset’s PC connection and OpenXR runtime, then choose Enter VR. Chrome must report an available immersive session.
Point + trigger
Click a page or a workspace button.
Hold trigger on a page
Drag or select text. Aim away and release to cancel.
Thumbstick up / down
Scroll the page under your pointer.
VR menu
The compact dock stays below your tabs. Select Menu to expand controls; click a tab to collapse them. Say “Tabspace show menu” or “Tabspace hide menu”.
Screen positions
Controllers keep screens in place. Use layout, distance, size, or recenter controls to arrange them.
Floating toolbar
Layouts, distance, size, navigation, audio, keyboard, stop, and exit.
Desktop
Drag the background to look around. Click a panel to interact. Escape releases the pointer.
Say “open a new tab at example.com,” “go to example.com,” or “close this tab.” New voice tabs require the interactive edition; existing tabs can be shared from Chrome’s toolbar. File pickers, passkeys, and browser dialogs may need your computer. Protected video may appear black.

No silence timeout. Listening stays on when you switch tabs. Use Stop listening to turn the mic off.

Create a tab and add it to VR. Also: close this tab, close tab two, go to example.com, search the web for a topic.
“Tabspace movie mode”
Watch the selected tab on a big screen in a cozy living room. Also: cinema mode, exit movie mode, watch in 3D.
“Tabspace make this window bigger”
Resize the focused panel; neighbors move apart. Also: smaller panel, desktop preview off, desktop preview on.
“Tabspace hide menu”
Collapse the VR menu or desktop sidebar. Say “Tabspace show menu” to bring it back.
“Tabspace tab two”
Select a shared tab. Also: next tab, previous tab.
“Tabspace scroll down”
Scroll the focused page. Also: up, left, right; add “a little” or “a lot.”
“Tabspace go back”
Also: go forward, reload, zoom in, zoom out, reset zoom.
Insert text into a field you selected first. Nothing is submitted automatically. Say “press Enter,” “press Tab,” or “press Backspace” for a key.
“Tabspace mute this tab”
Mute one tab. Also: unmute this tab, mute tab two, unmute tab two. Other tabs keep playing.
“Tabspace mute audio”
Mute all shared tabs. Also: unmute audio, auto mode (adapts 3D), smooth mode (60 fps), fast mode (90 fps), show keyboard.
“Tabspace stop listening”
Turn the microphone off. “Stop sharing” stops every shared panel and voice. Also: stop this tab, exit VR, on computer.
Privacy & voice details
Recognizes speech on this device, offline after Chrome downloads the English speech pack.
The AI assistant uses your selected browser model. GPT Live additionally uses gpt-live-1 for voice. Page control requires Control in VR. Voice acts only on shared tabs or tabs you ask to create.
Voice does not identify the speaker. Use headphones to avoid picking up page audio. Microphone access never starts automatically after a reload.
